Hello, I am Caroline your Family,  Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in Cheshire.

As a fully qualified Family and Funeral Celebrant with UKSOC I work in Cheshire and the surrounding areas of Warrington, Staffordshire, and Shropshire. Helping the couples and families I work with to create the perfect ceremony for them.

Now I understand that the fact you are reading this profile means you are looking for the right Celebrant for you and your family. So let me tell you a bit about myself…

I have always been fascinated with people and their lives, even from a young age I would chat to strangers that I met and then regale my Mum and Dad with their stories (some more appropriate than others it has to be said!).

This love of connecting with people continued into adulthood, throughout my life I have worked with people where getting to know them and their lives was an integral part of the work we did together. I think the fact that I am pretty unshockable, naturally inquisitive, and open and honest played a really big part in this.

In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and teenage children and walking with my sister in the beautiful countryside found in and around Cheshire. As well as traveling to European cities with my now grown-up niece (I am not sure how that happened so quickly). She is my perfect travel companion as she loves to walk and explore the history of places as much as I do.

I also sing in a covers band, which I have done for over a decade now. Now, I feel I at this point I need to keep your expectations realistic; we are never going to be millionaires. But we performed at various festivals and pubs locally. And it brings me so much pleasure to see people having a great time singing along and dancing as we play.

Becoming a Celebrant was a natural next step for me. Being involved in such significant points in people’s lives is an absolute privilege and I love the way it allows me to make such meaningful connections with them.

I take pleasure in working together to create the ceremony that is right for you. Every ceremony I do is written specifically for you, based on the conversations we have had, and the time we have shared together. My goal is to always capture through my story telling, readings and poems, the real essence of the people I am talking about. Be this your loved one who has passed away or you as a couple for your wedding.

Without wishing to sound like I am creating a dating profile…I am an outgoing and chatty person, who enjoys sharing a laugh together. But I am also empathetic, caring, and able to deliver ceremonies with the right tone at the right time. And at the end of the day your ceremonies are all about you, not me. I just have honour of being there with you.

So, wherever you are looking to have your ceremony, I am happy to join you, and can promise you I am the “safe pair of hands” you want for your ceremony. Be that indoors at a more traditional venue, or at the top of a hill overlooking a sunset, I am excited to come along.
