Wedding Celebrant in the North West

Hello, my name’s Steph, and I’m your Wedding Celebrant based in the North West (Liverpool)(.

I am thrilled to have qualified as a Family Celebrant with UKSOC and I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, all over the UK, and delivering a fun, memorable, and unique celebration based on your requests, passions, and needs.

I’m a working actor, and have been since 1997. My credits include, a regular role in Peaky Blinders season 6 (as Tommy’s butler George), Doctor Who, Doctors, and London’s West End.

I have an incredible partner - artist and graphic designer Lisa, and we live with Lisa’s teenage son Ned, who is on his way to becoming a YouTube sensation!

Lisa and I have spent the last 3 years renovation a Victorian house in South Liverpool. We have uncovered many hidden gems, and we’re determined to get the house back to its 1900’s glory.

My passion is stand-up and comedy with heroes including Sean Lock; Eric Morecambe; and Simon Pegg; and screenwriting, with my first movie script currently being passed from pillar to post.

As well as my acting work I also tour the UK as my alter ego – TEENA BIZKIT. A drag queen I played on BBC’s Doctors, who I was allowed to adopt and create live shows with. I love performing as Teena, bringing laughter to live audiences.

My other outlet is murder! I run my own Murder Mystery company providing fully scripted comedy murders for hotels, and venues across the UK. I have over 30 plots I’ve penned with comedy characters from Downton Abbey, and onwards through Fawlty Towers & Allo Allo.

The reason I became a celebrant is simple, I love to share joy with audiences, and put on the best show in town. I am a great listener, kind, and incredibly adaptable.
I was asked by an actress friend to be the official of her wedding blessing, I absolutely loved it – so here we are.

Whether you’re planning for a Wedding, Naming Ceremony or huge Life Event, I will work with you to help create, mould, and deliver a perfect ceremony, filled with memories, positivity, and stories.
I would be delighted to assist in all ceremonies from all walks of life, including same - and opposite-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies, as well as provide bespoke naming ceremonies for children.

Have you thought about theming your celebration? Maybe Peaky Blinders (with an actual cast member); Harry Potter; Game of Thrones; Fawlty Towers; Doctor Who; Disney - you name it. Whatever you’re a fan of – allow your imagination to run wild!

Weddings can be MURDER! As I also run a Murder Mystery company, I know how to ‘work’ a room, and get everyone joining in.

I would be delighted to be the Celebrant for your ceremony or event. I guarantee you will never be disappointed. I will be patient, inventive, incredibly approachable, attentive and deliver according to your requests… large or small.

I will help answer any questions, or worries you may have, no question is too trivial. I’ll be on hand throughout the process making sure your needs are being met and you are reassured at all times.
