Being a loving, caring, warm and inquisitive Mum of three young adults, I simply love people and am fascinated by discovering the impact that a loved one has on others. There’s always a story to tell. It’s these unique stories and impacts we get to focus on in a ceremony. Allowing for all those precious moments from life relived, waiting to be uncovered and told in such a way that we are all left feeling touched, moved and inspired.

Why choose me? Previous to becoming a Celebrant I worked with a range of clients as a one to one coach - mentoring young adults, re-empowering the middle aged, enlivening the lonely, and enriching the elderly. This developed skills of being flexible, non-judgemental and approachable; being compassionate, a good listener and sensitive to others needs; being nurturing, guiding and supportive. It’s this experience and ability to relate to all ages, to be a contribution to and to get into another’s world that really elevates my connection with people, no matter their circumstances background or what they are dealing with. I also have a good understanding of Veterans and their families.

In life who I get to be is the possibility of Love, Connection and Adventure. This enables a life full of fun, closeness to others, and the opportunity to live life fully with no regrets and with an empowering sense of freedom. An example of this is has me currently revisiting a hobby much loved in my teens – that of kayaking and wild swimming. Obviously they are quite connected and I am now spending most of my spare time either on the water or in it!

My commitment is to work with you to create bespoke ceremonies and celebrations full of exclusive touches tailored to your personality, your needs and your wishes.

Our initial meeting allows you to share your own values and beliefs. You may wish to include traditional or non-traditional elements in your ceremony, with so many possibilities in between.

You will get the space to express and explore your wants and dreams enabling us to create and deliver a precious, very personal and beautiful ceremony that focuses on your individual wishes. When building your ceremony through exquisite storytelling, we may laugh, we may cry and we will ensure to leave you and your family enriched and mentally uplifted from our time together.

Having lost several close family members, I was so moved to retrain to become a Celebrant. The experience and contrast that the funeral celebrant made to the family and how a personal ceremony and farewells made all the difference, was overwhelmingly inspiring.

With wedding and family ceremonies, its people’s lives and their love that captivates me and unleashes a curiosity about how love draws one another together and enriches each other’s lives. This makes it worth sharing and honouring with special ceremony that cements that bond.
