Hi I’m Anna and I’m your Family, Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in Bristol .

I am a qualified wedding, family and funeral celebrant based in Somerset and I am all about celebrating love. I offer ceremonies across the Southwest of England and beyond. If you think that I’m the right person for you then I am happy to travel to be there for your special day.

As humans we are weird and wonderful, and I believe that we deserve to celebrate that at every opportunity!

Who am I?

I have enjoyed living and working in Bristol, Devon, the South East and Midlands and am now settled in Somerset. The colour yellow is one you see here because it represents me so well. It is a reflection of the light I will bring to your ceremony and glow people will feel as they walk away! I am passionate about food, charity shops and looking after the planet. At my own wedding, I was determined to re-use as many items as I could and had fun finding as many items as I could second hand.

After over 15 years of working in health services, I still genuinely love getting to know new people and am very comfortable putting everyone at ease. I will care about you as we go through the process leading up to the big day. My life experience so far has given me an absolute awe of the strength and love that we have as humans. I see being a celebrant as an opportunity to honour what is most important to each of the people I work with.

I believe that love transcends, age, faith, sexuality, gender, race, language and even death. I embrace ceremonies for all genders and sexualities.

What can I offer you?

As your celebrant, I am there to give the ceremony character and meaning. It is to create moments to be remembered, not standardised lines to rush through and a feeling you've heard it all before. It can be as formal or zany as you like and I'm right alongside you for the journey.

My services include weddings, civil partnership, commitment and vow renewal. Naming ceremonies for children and for people of any age who are celebrating a new identity such as going through a transition, or after a divorce. I also offer ceremonies for funerals and memorials.

I will help you to have a stress-free journey in bringing your ceremony to life. If needed, I can make suggestions for the right music or readings. However, if you’re bursting with ideas and questions then please do throw them my way, I am completely unflappable! Whether you have concerns about tricky family situations or are trying to decide what to wear, I’ll come alongside you and get you smiling again.

Years of experience talking in front of large groups means that I’m confident engaging an audience and helping them to feel the love. I like to write ceremonies that connect everyone who is there on the day. Whether it's a song, joke or task for the guests, we can create amazing memories that will be shared forever between you all.
