Originally from Horsham in Sussex, I have spent most of my career to date working in arts marketing for theatre companies, festivals and venues. This has taken me all over the UK - from London to Wales, Scotland, Birmingham and the north west. I am also a writer, mainly writing for theatre and performance and occasional television and film projects. I love meeting new people and using my love of writing to fashion copy and scripts. I decided to become a celebrant after the death of my mother and I realised what went into creating a perfect farewell.
I have performed as a stand up comedian and worked as a playwright and with my marketing skills I am used to meeting new people and explaining what I can do to help them. I am calm under pressure and with my background in theatre understand the need for getting everything right on the day.
I can write ceremonies or write and deliver them too, as both a family and funeral celebrant. I can create ceremonies for weddings, namings, renewal of vows and of course for funerals. I can offer a personal and professional service designed to give my clients a unique ceremony that will represent the character and interests of them and their loved ones.
I am hard working, focussed and creative with a great attention to detail. If you choose me to be your celebrant I will ensure that whatever your event, it is the best it could possibly be.
