Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in London

Hello, my name is Mel B (no unfortunately not the Spice girl) and I am a Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in London. Currently living in North London Holloway opposite the Gunners football ground but I am not a massive football fan, though any team coached by Ted Lasso is the one for me!

I definitely would be willing to travel for ceremonies but the areas I am most local to our London and Buckinghamshire.

My passions include the theatre - musicals, plays, comedy, cabaret, you name it I love it. I really enjoy going to the cinema (especially when it is boiling outside, you can't beat the air con). I like watching the new releases but for me you cannot beat some of the old classics, the prince charles cinema in Leicester Square is great for watching some of the classics on the big screen. I enjoy reading, walking and of course drinking good wine and eating excellent food (I guess you can tell that from my profile picture).

I am a keen traveller and cannot wait to start exploring the world again, top of the list is Italy, Iceland and the North coast 500. A little fun fact about myself is that I had a terrible fear of flying throughout my teenage years but undertook a fear of flying course in my late twenties which changed this and I have never looked back - could not recommend more highly!

My mantra in life is: 'In a world where you can be anything, be kind', your words have a great impact on the world around you and to me it is important to lead by example and to share my positivity and creativity with those around me.

So why would you choose me as your Celebrant?

I love meeting new people and building connections. I am an excellent public speaker, as I have to undertake interviews and webinars on a regular bases with my current day job in the entertainment sector.

I believe celebrating the important milestones is something we should focus on, bringing people together, to be with each other is what this world is about - I can't name a better feeling!

I want to work with you as a couple to create a unique and personal ceremony, there is so many ways we can approach this exciting moments in your life. I want us to work together to make sure your special day is exactly how you imagined it, a snap shot of perfection as you travel through to the next stage of your relationship.

Love makes the world go round, every person in this world has their own thoughts on what love means to them and how they want their relationship to grow and prosper, with these thoughts in mind I want to work with you as a couple to create vows and promises which are meaningful to your relationship and are something you can reflect on

I am happy to discuss all types of ceremonies that you might want to mark, naming ceremonies, adoption ceremonies, renewal or vow ceremonies, divorce parties to name just a few - you name it I am sure we can find a way to mark it!

Due to prior work commitments I am only able to take bookings for weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies, as I don't have the time to deliver the types of funeral ceremonies I would like to give whilst working on other projects.
