Brian Bullock | Family & Funeral Celebrant

Hello, my name is Brian Bullock, and I am an Independent Civil Celebrant in the North East of England.

I was born and raised in Hartlepool until I joined the Army where I served for 22 years and reached the rank of Warrant Officer Class Two, Company Sergeant Major. Once my career in the military had ended I worked as a Contract Manager delivering Custody Services to Police Forces for over 10 years.

During my lifetime, working in various organisations, dealing with lots of varied incidents and having met many people from many walks of life, my experience has concluded my belief that we are all truly unique human beings with a wide range of needs and desires. Through my experiences I have become a very professional person, proud of what I have achieved and who I have mentored through life, but not too proud to know that life is a learning curve and will continue until time is no more for us. I have dedicated myself to such pursuits as may at once enable me to be respectable in life and death, and useful to mankind.

Memories are forever, as a Family and Funeral Celebrant I will compose and deliver a unique ceremony to help you to make memories on your special day and also help those loved ones to remember their memories during your sad day when life is with you no more. I will respect your values and beliefs and I am happy to include whatever special ceremony or making of the moment you wish. Nothing is a problem and I will work with you to provide a memorable and fitting ceremony that anyone would be proud of.

My role as your celebrant is to play a crucial part in assembling and delivering a ceremony that will, not only touch the lives of yourself, your family and friends, but will also make a positive and lasting reflection in your heart. I will listen to you with empathy and sensitivity, I will provide guidance and work diligently with you to sketch a picture and ask you to fill in the colours to complete the portrait of memories to ensure that your bespoke ceremony is the one you can reflect upon fondly and with satisfaction.
