Funeral Celebrant in Liverpool
Hello, my name is Kerry and I am your Funeral Celebrant in Liverpool. I'm a mum to three boys and I'm a funeral Celebrant in the Liverpool and surrounding areas. Having lived in Liverpool all my life, I am very proud of my City and I love to learn about the history of it. I'm quite familiar with most areas and I love meeting new people, and learning about their families and the life they have led. Being a great listener, I find a reassuring comfort in sharing my life experiences with people who have been through similar situations to myself.
In my spare time I enjoy to go on long walks. I love food, not the best cook but I give it a go. Music is my thing! you'll often find me with my earphones in. I also love a good television series and documentaries. Definitely a huge animal lover, dogs being my favourite. I enjoy my morning coffee sat in my kitchen looking out the window into my garden at all the birds and squirrels that frequently visit. As with most mums, my main focus is my children. They keep me extra busy with after school activities, homework, parties etc.... I'm extremely close to my family, they are exceptionally important to me.
Having previously worked for one of the biggest retailers in the World for fifteen years, I gained superb customer service skills, dealing with customers from all backgrounds and all walks of life. I learned how to be calm in sometimes tense and volatile situations. I learned how to listen, and how often all people need is a friendly smile and a moment of your time. I learned a great deal working for the same company for such a long period of time, and I am very grateful for all the experience I was able to gain there over the years. I've also had the pleasure of working with staff from all different places around the World, which I love.
Working in the retail industry for fifteen years, I was comfortable and never really thought about changing my career path. I know many people in the funeral industry, but it had never appealed to me, often thinking why anyone would want to do this for their job.
After losing my dad to Covid, my views completely changed on this. During my long and painful road of grief, I decided on a career change. With going through the most difficult time of my life, and being helped along the way by all the wonderful, kind and caring staff who work in the funeral industry, I knew this was the career that I wanted to move into. Understanding now the pain we endure when we lose someone we love, it became extremely important to me to try and help and guide people through their painful time, that I have experienced myself.
As a funeral Celebrant my aim is to guide you through creating a special, personal Ceremony for your loved one. Whether that be religious, spiritual or on-religious. It would seem in our present times, that we all have many different views and beliefs. Being completely open to all, I would be honoured to conduct your loved ones Ceremony and completely respect your views. A funeral Ceremony should be unique and individual to your loved one. My goal would be to deliver your loved ones Ceremony, tailored to their beliefs and wishes. Working closely with you, together we will create the exact Ceremony that you are hoping for. With my own personal knowledge of organising a funeral, I know first hand the pressure and difficulty it brings at an already deeply painful time. I would love to be that person who comes along with a caring, helping hand. Someone who can bring comfort, reassurance and guidance to you and your family.
REVIEW
Kerry celebrated the life of my dear friend Billy, who very sadly passed away. I cannot praise her enough, she delivered a beautiful, heartfelt service.
Kerry is very likeable, kind and strong at the same time, humble with dignity. So many people commented on her lovely nature. It was a very difficult day, made more bearable by Kerry's flawless service and caring nature.
I knew when we met beforehand that she was the right one. And this was largely confirmed by everyone on the day of the service. She got it, she was one of us.
I feel ever so grateful. Thank you Kerry so much. I know Billy would have felt the same.

Best wishes,
Pina
