My name is Christine Belchere and I am an Independent Civil Celebrant , working primarily in the South East of England. However, from my Biography , you will see that I am happy to work anywhere in the World, if you so desire, to help you create the Day of Your Dreams . I have lived a 'global' life. I was born in the UK but spent most of my early days living in Hong Kong and China , before returning to attend Sussex University and train as a teacher of English and Art.

I taught for many years in the UK, Chicago USA and the Bahamas. I most recently spent many years living in Andalusia, Spain, where I continued my career as a professional artist. It was during my time in the Caribbean that, together with good friends and business partners, I set up a successful printing and painting enterprise . This work was individual, bespoke and mostly done on commission. Whatever the customer wants has always been a top priority for me and this is what I can bring to your special occasion. Your unique day, whether it be a wedding celebration, renewal of vows or baby-naming , can be tailored exactly to your specifications. By using the services of a Celebrant such as me you can achieve all the flexibility you desire and, together, we can design, create and produce a truly original and personalised occasion.

I need to get to know you.....your passions , interests and dreams and I will then ensure that these are all reflected in your celebration. There are no restrictions as to place, time or possibilities but, in the case of a wedding, the legal necessities at the Registry Office , would have to be completed first. After that, with my expert writing skills ( which will ensure your vows and readings are exactly what you want) my creative dynamism ( which knows no limits !) and totally professional approach to every detailed aspect of your day, you can be certain of an event which will live in your hearts forever and will astound your guests with its personalised style and originality.
