I am an independent celebrant living in Nantwich in Cheshire (though Scottish-born) and it would be my privilege to work with you to create a bespoke ceremony which exceeds your expectations.
I became a celebrant after attending a number of celebrant-led ceremonies where I realised how important the role is in supporting families through times of great distress and turmoil. In addition to being a celebrant I am also a qualified counsellor and a published writer, which makes me uniquely qualified for the work that I do. Prior to that, I enjoyed a long career in education and the charity sector.
It is my honour to work with families and friends to craft unique ceremonies tailored to their precise requirements. They may be joyous occasions such as weddings, naming ceremonies or milestone birthdays; or they may be those occasions where we celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. Often we know what we want to say at these times, but finding the right words to use can be difficult, and that is where a celebrant can help.
It’s my job to guide and support you through the process. I will listen to you with sensitivity and empathy, provide whatever advice and guidance you might need, and work diligently to make sure that your ceremony is one that you can look back on with pride and satisfaction.
