Hello Everyone, my name is Stuart, your family, wedding and funeral celebrant in Lancashire. I am originally from West Yorkshire and now live in Bolton with my wife, Sarah.

I don’t know if I’m on the right or wrong side of the Pennines now, I’ll let you decide!

I am a dad, stepdad, and grandad.

A keen table tennis player in the Bolton League and an avid supporter of my beloved Huddersfield Town.

I have a great sense of humour and love to laugh but am I also professional when required.

My wife is a nurse and would often tell me how rewarding her work was. After many years in engineering, I decided I too wanted to do something as equally worthwhile.

It was at a funeral when I watched a Celebrant deliver the ceremony that I thought, I could do that.

As I mentioned, my background is in engineering and when I did my Celebrant training, I realised I had many transferrable skills such as attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

I am a people person and love meeting people and finding out what sets them apart from others.

I believe all my ceremonies reflect this and should be as individual as you are. Whether it be an uplifting celebration of life, a dignified funeral service, a joyous wedding or partnership, or an intimate naming ceremony.

Whatever the occasion, I will work with you and your family to provide a bespoke service, I will spend time to discover all the vital facts and stories that make you or your family member unique. I will support you from our first meeting right through to the service itself.
