Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in London
Hello, my name is Yvonne Levene-Fearnside, and I am a your Family, Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in London, registered with The UK Society of Celebrants since September 2021. I live and work in my home town in the bustling city of London. I have spent my working life focused upon working with young people, guiding them through major life decisions. I have always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. This might be a small chat at a bus stop with an elderly lady sharing her memories of growing up in the locality. It might be talking to a younger person and looking at all of the amazing opportunities that life brings. Every moment, every human connection, has been an influence on how I live my life, and the stories I have to tell.
As a celebrant, one has to support people through major life transformations. Through doing so, an appreciation or a celebration of life is shared, no matter the type of ceremony. I love being able to work in an environment where I can meet a range of people from all walks of life. I am beyond grateful that I have the privilege of sharing cherished moments with people
Indeed, I would say that I could not and would not be working in an environment where I did not encounter different lives and varying stories and tales to tell. Being able to provide those who are seeking a celebrant service with someone keen to provide a space to ‘tell the story ’To the world, this is the type of celebrant service that you will find at Treasures of the Heart Celebrant Service with Yvonne.
With one daughter, a Yorkshireman for a husband of over 20 years, close to family members and friends alike, I enjoy walking in the countryside surrounding London, yes, it does exist, having coffee and a good chat with friends in the cafes local to my home. Learning and trying out new creative activities are another passion; I would say that I cherish and love of life.
I decided to change direction and become a celebrant, in the midst of the pandemic, when I attended the funeral of my beautiful mother-in-law Margaret. The lady who conducted the funeral at this difficult time provided us with a clear and endearing picture of Margaret. She told us of Margaret as a young girl, a daughter, a sister, a mother and a wife. It was this experience that crystalised my yearning to make a difference to people’s lives, during some of the most momentous occasions in their lives.
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Vow Renewals, Naming Ceremonies and Funerals. I would say that I desire to make a real change to how we create such memories via my role as a Family and Funeral Celebrant.
Words that are often used to describe me, by family, friends and colleagues.
